I bought the game on steam for my nephew and myself despite it being on sale from another digital distributor because I didn't want to add another launcher/account to my already long (and growing list) of launchers.įrom this point forward anytime I buy a game on steam and it requires me to register with yet another launcher/social entity I will just immediately request a refund. I love steam because it consolidates all this nonsense.

If Rockstar is going to allow Steam to digitally distribute your product, and Steam has a robust social network in place (Friends, Chat, Forums, Workshop etc) why do I need to sign up for Rockstars launcher and "Social Club" (which I will never use)?
